The following are some of the results we have obtained for clients in DUI cases in 2018. This list only includes DUI cases and not any of the results we have obtained in defending other types of cases. Also, this list only includes DUI cases that resulted in dismissals or acquittals and does not include the favorable results we have obtained for clients that involved resolution by plea or diversion. It is extremely important to remember, though, that past performance does not guarantee or predict future results. Every case is different and each must be judged on its own merits. No expectation of similar results in other cases should be implied by this information.
City of Lawrence v. J.G.: Client pulled over for traffic infractions and charged with DUI. Case dismissed before trial.
City of Overland Park v. J.R.: Client stopped speeding and going out of the lane. Arrested for DUI after field sobriety tests. Case dismissed before trial.
City of Lenexa v. C.I.: Client involved in an accident and failed field sobriety tests. At the station, blew .173 on an Intoxilyzer 9000. Found not guilty after trial.
State of Kansas (Johnson County) v. D.D.: Client was stopped for speeding and failed field sobriety tests. Also charged with possession of a firearm under the influence. Found Not Guilty of both charges after a trial.
City of Merriam v. S.D.: Client was found sleeping in a vehicle at an intersection. Blew .165 on the Intoxilyzer at the station. Found Not Guilty after trial.
City of Olathe v. C.H.: Client found sleeping in a car in a park. After field sobriety tests he was arrested for DUI. Case dismissed prior to trial.
State of Kansas (Johnson County) v. J.F.: Client was pulled over after failing to maintain a single lane and arrested for DUI after field testing. Found not guilty after a jury trial.
State of Kansas (Johnson County) v. J.K.: Client stopped for speeding and given field sobriety tests. The breath test result on the Intoxilyzer 9000 was .160. Found Not Guilty after trial.
City of Mission v. J.R.: Client stopped for speeding and given field sobriety tests. Arrested for DUI. Case Dismissed prior to trial.
City of Lawrence v. J.A.: Client’s vehicle struck a dumpster and police were called to the accident. After field sobriety tests, the client was arrested and charged with DUI. Case dismissed prior to trial.
City of Kansas City, Kansas v. K.M.: Client stopped in middle of an intersection and contacted by police. Arrested for DUI. The breath test result on the Intoxilyzer 9000 was .106. Case dismissed on defense motions.
State of Kansas (Johnson County) v. H.A.: Client stopped for weaving and given field sobriety tests. Arrested for DUI. Found Not guilty after trial.
City of Merriam v. T.S.: Client stopped for illegal U-Turn and given field sobriety tests. Blew a .182 deficient sample on the Intoxilyzer. Case dismissed on defense motions prior to trial.
